Villa Di Lupo Parra Parra Wolf Street San Prospero-House Note: privately owned, is open only from the outside. Description Located in San Prospero, the Villa Di Lupo Parra shows a structure elongated with the dove towers on either side, depending on the type of villa-fortress of the Florentine master. In the area of Pisa, this construction concept began to spread from the end of the sixteenth century through the work of the Florentine architect Bernardo Buontalenti, author of the hunting residence of Francesco I de 'Medici in Coltano. The overall structure must, however, is to present a series of operations conducted during the nineteenth century, when the increased prestige of the family pushed the Di Lupo Parra to renew the system of residence. During the nineteenth century not only because it was provided to expand the building, but also intervened on his furnishing plastic, inserting a series of decorative elements in terra cotta, like the gargoyles on the facade are to testify.
