Prints and Drawings in the Piazza San Matteo Soarta, 2 56100 - Pisa 050-580128 050-587111/587228 The Prints and Drawings is a public collection of contemporary graphic design consists of over 8,000 works on paper. Currently closed to the consultation, the collection will soon be placed in the prestigious Palazzo Lanfranchi environments, which will become home to a museum run by the same municipality and the University of Pisa. Built in 1958 on the initiative of Carlo Ludovico Ragghianti, the Department of Drawings and Prints consists of three main parts: the collection of Sebastian Timpanaro, the gifts of the artists, a perpetual series of runs on deposit by the National Calcografia Rome.
